Job summary

Sedgwick Claims Management Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Claims Representative to analyze and process auto commercial trucking and transportation claims from its Kentucky region. The role focuses on evaluating damage, processing payments, and ensuring documentation aligns with policy requirements.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of property claims experience, familiarity with subrogation, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Secure and maintain the State adjusting licenses as required for the position.
• Three (3) years of personal line or commercial line property claims management experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of property damage estimates, total loss evaluations, and related expenses.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office; strong written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto property damage and lower level injury claims.
• Assesses damage, makes payments, and ensures files are properly documented and correctly coded.
• Develops action plans to meet state contract deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies and pursues subrogation opportunities.
• Secures and disposes of salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker when appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations.
• Performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis on assignments.
