Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Manager to analyze and process complex auto and commercial transportation claims. This role involves ensuring proper documentation, pursuing subrogation opportunities, and coordinating with vendors to resolve claims promptly.

Applicants should have five years of claims management experience and preferably hold a Bachelor's degree. The starting salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $85,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Five years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• Secure and maintain state adjusting licenses.

Responsibilities

• Processes complex auto commercial and personal line claims.
• Responsible for litigation process on litigated claims.
• Coordinates vendor management for investigation of claims.
• Reports large claims to excess carrier(s).
• Develops action plans to meet state-required contact deadlines.
• Identifies and pursues subrogation and risk transfer opportunities.

Skills

Knowledge of personal and commercial line auto policies

Medical terminology for claim evaluation

Strong oral and written communication

PC literate, including Microsoft Office products

Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
