Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group offers a 10-week Summer Internship in Worcester, MA. The program provides hands-on experience in our Claims Auto Property Damage team, with a hybrid work arrangement at our Worcester office.

You will support data analysis, develop tools and reporting, and present findings to management. Candidates should be enrolled in a bachelor's or advanced degree, with a strong GPA and interest in analytics, marketing, sales, or customer service.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree or advanced degree program.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Ability to commit to a full time 10-week internship program.
• Ability to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Marketing, sales, or customer service background preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates initiative, creativity and analytical skills.
• Thinks critically and anticipates, recognizes, identifies, and develops solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support the Auto Property Damage group within our Claims Department.
• Develop tools and reporting analytics to support business growth and efficiency.
• Collect, analyze, and report data to meet customer needs.
• Assist in developing tools, processes and reporting analytics.
• Communicate with customers, external partners and internal departments frequently.
• Develop data and reports for field and customers to articulate value to agent partners and customers.
• Provide accurate analytical support to team ensuring results are validated and accurate.
• Summarize information and communicate analyses in writing and verbally to internal partners.
• Assist in various projects, meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Create and present a final presentation for management and leadership at program close.
