Your Role

As an Associate Auto Claims Advisor, your responsibilities include handling non-injury claims, verifying and explaining coverages, conducting liability investigations, advising customers on liability decisions, setting expectations about the claims process, obtaining police reports and witness statements, reaching out to other adjusters, and keeping members informed of the claim status.

Your Work
  • Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle auto and property damage claims.
  • Manage a diary system to review and resolve claims within state guidelines.
  • Handle an inventory of claims, open claims, and gather required information.
  • Explain policies, coverages, and next steps to customers.
  • Document files, send correspondence, and communicate with customers and repair facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Arrange and pay for repairs, rentals, towing, and negotiate storage.
  • Apply estimating standards ranging from minor to moderate complexity.
  • Complete a 14-week virtual training program, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Pacific Time, starting 07/21/2025.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED or 2 years of experience in a customer-facing virtual environment using internet, phone, and chat.
  • Ability to train and work remotely, meeting work-from-home requirements.
  • Adjusters license may be required by state.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of customer service experience.
  • College Degree.
  • Empathy, adaptability, time management, organization.
  • Property and Casualty industry experience (preferred).
  • Flexibility to work any shift between 5:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. PST, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong interpersonal and computer skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Respect for diversity and excellent communication skills.
  • Participation in company culture activities and willingness to travel as needed.
