Job summary

Allcat Claims Service is seeking a claims professional to provide service via phone, fax, email, and mail to policyholders on behalf of clients. You will adjust auto claims of varying complexity, determine coverage, and document decisions with attention to detail.

The role requires an Insurance Adjuster's license, strong customer service and organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. In-office position located in San Antonio, TX.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Insurance Adjuster's license required; must pass licensing exam.
• 1 year of customer contact experience.
• Strong customer service, communication, organizational skills.
• Enjoys fast-paced environment and adapts to changes in process/systems.
• Must be accurate and detail oriented.
• Ability to learn new technologies.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Provide claims service via internal channels to policyholders.
• Adjust simple to moderately complex Auto claims.
• Identify, confirm, and make coverage decisions on claims.
• Investigate loss details, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve claims within authority guidelines.
• Document thought process, investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement decisions.
• Prioritize and manage assigned claims workload and provide timely updates.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and escalate as needed.
• Acquire and apply basic knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance products and claim handling processes.
• Support workload surges and catastrophe operations as needed.
