Job summary

Classic Collision in Portland, OR is seeking an experienced Collision Technician to disassemble vehicles, assess damage, and help prepare a 100% repair plan. You will identify repairs to minimize supplements and plan procedures, while operating welding and finishing tools.

A valid driver’s license is required; I-CAR/ASE certifications are preferred. We offer weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of collision repair experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Customer-focused attitude with ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicles to assist estimators in preparing a 100% repair plan.
• Identify all needed repairs to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedures following the work order.
• Gain access to damaged areas by removing upholstery and components.
• Hammer out dents, weld parts, and ensure gaps meet standards.
• Operate welding and finishing tools as required.
• File, grind and sand repaired surfaces before painting.
• Repair or replace defective parts and test drive for safety and quality.
• Follow safety procedures and SOPs.
