Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking a skilled Collision Repair Technician to join our team in Texas. You will disassemble, assess damage, and execute repairs to deliver 100% repair plans while maintaining safety and quality.

You will use various hand and power tools and collaborate with estimators and painters. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience in collision repair, a clean driving record, and a commitment to workmanship and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred.
• 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist Collision Estimators in assessing damage and planning repairs.
• Identify needed repairs to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedures following the work order for all operations listed.
• Access damaged areas by removing upholstery and components as needed, then store parts safely.
• Repair body damage by hammering, filling dents, welding parts, and reassembling after painting.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, sander, spray guns, etc.).
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before painting.
• Repair or replace defective parts.
• Inspect and test drive vehicles to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Comply with all procedures, safety rules, and guidelines.
