Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide exceptional customer service through precise assessment and high-quality vehicle repairs, restoring pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding the WOW standard and brand promise of speed, quality, and customer excellence.

You will work with the team to meet KPIs, ensure safety, and contribute as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group, with opportunities in training and career

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship pursued or completed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers; use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and windshields as needed.
• Weld and attach parts; prep and repaint vehicles to spec.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
