Responsibilities

1. Examine damaged vehicles and plan repair processes efficiently.
2. Communicate with team members about vehicle repair status.
3. Perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time completion.
4. Decide on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
5. Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components, and trim to access vehicles and fenders.
6. Participate in safety meetings.
7. File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using appropriate tools.
8. Supervise and guide apprentices or team members as needed, explaining procedures and addressing issues.

Qualifications

1. Preferred: Certification in body repair.
2. Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
3. I-CAR welding certification.
4. Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
5. Ability to supervise repair personnel.
6. Must pass a thorough background check.

Compensation is based on experience, skills, and certifications. The position is paid on a commission/flag rate structure, with guaranteed minimum wages. The listed pay range is an average for full-time employees.
