Job Description: Body Technician at Crash Champions

Crash Champions is a leading, fast-growing collision repair service provider in the U.S., operating over 650 locations across 38 states. Founded in 1999 in Chicago, our company emphasizes a 'People First' approach to delivering superior service. We are seeking a qualified Body Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities

1. Examine damaged vehicles and plan repairs efficiently.
2. Communicate with team members regarding vehicle repair status.
3. Perform quality repairs while adhering to time schedules.
4. Make decisions on repair versus replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
5. Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic equipment, and trim for access.
6. Participate in safety meetings.
7. File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
8. Supervise apprentices and explain procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a frame machine.
• Preferred certification in body repair.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification.
• Skill in analyzing measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must pass a thorough background check.
