Gerber Collision & Glass in Berea, Kentucky, seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repairs. You will disassemble, repair, realign, and reassemble vehicles, ensuring quality, speed, and adherence to KPI targets.

Role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship. You will work with cutting tools, welders, and glass replacements to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship is preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan and repair work, prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles accurately.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged parts and glass, and perform painting as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, ensuring factory/approved finishes.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect results.
