Job summary

The Boyd Group in Marion, AR is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver quality repairs and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while ensuring speed, quality and customer satisfaction.

You’ll work with a team to plan repairs, prepare estimates, and use tools like cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, and wrenches. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with technical training or an apprenticeship preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute required repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Use tools like cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers and pliers to repair bodies.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure work is correct.
• Work with the team to meet KPIs and uphold brand standards.
• Follow safety procedures in a noisy environment.
