Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair, restoring pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and ensure quality while aligning with our speed and customer-excellence promises.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical schooling or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship required.
Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies and use tools required for the trade.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

Execute WOW plan consistently.
Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers using appropriate tools.
Repair dents and body damage; apply filler resins when needed.
Realign chassis/frames to repair structural damage.
Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior parts as needed.
Weld and fit parts; paint vehicles with factory-specified or equivalent paints.
Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
