Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repairs that restore pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding speed, quality and customer excellence across the shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use cutting tools, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins where needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to correct structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and windshields or interiors as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles with factory or approved paint.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
