Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide top-tier customer experiences through precise vehicle repair. You will plan repairs, estimate costs, disassemble and repair bodies, and ensure parts and finishes meet factory standards.

Responsibilities include welding, replacing components, and repainting as needed, while inspecting work to guarantee quality. A high school diploma or equivalent and technical training are required, with safety and teamwork emphasized.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
• Must be able to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies and use required tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Weld, replace parts, and repaint vehicles as needed to meet quality standards.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure work is complete and compliant.
