Gerber Collision & Glass seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair, restoration to pre-accident condition, and teamwork with peers. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and ensure quality, with duties ranging from dent repair to glass replacement and repainting to spec.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Thorough understanding of repair methods and the tools used in auto body work.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interiors as needed.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint to factory specs or equivalents.
• Aim to complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect for quality.
