Job summary

Boyd Group Services is seeking an Auto Body Technician to meticulously assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, ensuring speed, quality and customer excellence. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles and work with the team to meet KPIs while upholding the Brand Ambassador standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and may include technical schooling or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers. Uses tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Disassembles, repairs and reassembles vehicles while aiming to meet KPIs and brand standards.
• Realigns chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Removes damaged sections and replaces with new or aftermarket parts; replaces or repairs glass and windshields.
• Welds and attaches parts; prepares and repaints vehicles to factory specs or approved equivalents.
• Completes work orders within labor time guidelines and inspects vehicles after repair.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
