Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of vehicle body repair methods and use of trade tools.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and pliers for repairs.
• Realign chassis/frames and replace damaged parts.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality and safety.
• Comply with safety standards in a noisy shop environment.
