Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide exceptional customer experience through meticulous vehicle repair, restoration to pre-accident condition, and teamwork with colleagues to meet KPIs. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding the brand promise of speed, quality and customer excellence.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a technical training path or apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan is consistently executed.
• Plan repair work and prepare estimates using tools to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and repair glass.
• Repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld and attach/fit parts; prep and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repairs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
