Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass Harvey is seeking an Auto Body Technician to expertly repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble, ensuring speed, quality, and customer excellence.

The role emphasizes collaboration with teammates to meet KPIs and uphold the WOW operating standard. Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, realigning chassis, replacing parts, welding, painting, and inspecting finished work to ensure quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and perform repairs with minimal supervision.
• Good collaboration with other repairers in the shop.
• Familiarity with common tools used in auto body repairs.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Plans repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers.
• Realigns chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Removes damaged sections and installs new or aftermarket parts.
• Welds, fits parts, and prepares/repaints vehicles to spec.
• Ensures work orders meet labor guidelines and inspects vehicles after repair.
