Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Ohio is seeking an Auto Body Technician who delivers an exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and high-quality vehicle repairs to restore pre-accident condition.

You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, align chassis, replace parts, and work with the team to meet KPIs while serving as a brand ambassador for The Boyd Group.

Qualifications

• Must have basic ability to read and interpret job orders.
• Ability to work with other repairers in an auto body shop.
• Strong understanding of vehicle body repair methods and procedures.
• Knowledge of tools used in collision repair industry.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates using appropriate tools.
• Repair dents, realign chassis, replace parts, and apply factory finish where needed.
• Weld, assemble and repaint vehicles per specifications.
• Ensure work orders are completed within labor time guidelines and inspect finished work.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
