Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Utah is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, collaborating with the team to meet KPIs and uphold the Brand Ambassador standard.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and either technical school completion or a 3-year apprenticeship. Safety, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan execution.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates; use cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, pliers.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles to factory spec or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect for quality.
