Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to perform meticulous vehicle repairs and restore cars to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, ensuring speed, quality, and exceptional customer service as part of The Boyd Group family.

The role involves realigning chassis, replacing damaged sections, and painting to factory standards, while meeting KPIs and acting as a Brand Ambassador.

Qualifications

• Must read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Strong collaboration with other repairers in shop.
• Solid understanding of body repair methods and tool use.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers.
• Uses tools to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realigns chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass, interior parts as needed.
• Welds and fits parts into place.
• Prepare and repaint vehicles to factory-specified standards.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
