Job summary

DARCARS Collision Center of Rockville is seeking an Auto Body Technician/Mechanic to join our team. The role focuses on repairing damaged vehicle bodies and components to manufacturer and dealership standards, contributing to a high-quality collision repair workflow.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and timely completion of repair orders, with long-term opportunities for career advancement within the DARCARS network.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive or collision repair experience preferred.
• CSI and quality scores above the regional average preferred.
• Ability to perform vehicle repair and maintenance services efficiently.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work on repetitive and complex tasks.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background check).

Responsibilities

• Perform work detailed on vehicle repair orders in accordance with manufacturer standards.
• De-trim, disassemble, and repair vehicles with urgency and strong attention to detail.
• Maintain and assist with identifying and sourcing parts and materials.
• Meet or exceed the Collision Center’s productivity requirements.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working conditions.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations affecting body shop operations (including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know).
