Job summary

A leading automotive group in Marlow Heights, MD, is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician / Mechanic. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicle bodies in line with manufacturer specifications. You must have at least 3 years of automotive technician experience, be a team player, and possess a valid driver's license. Qualifications

3+ years of previous automotive technician experience.
CSI and Quality scores above regional average preferred.

Responsibilities

De-trim, disassemble and repair vehicles with urgency and attention to detail.
Maintain tools and equipment in a proper state of repair.

DARCARS Collision Center of Baltimore is now hiring Auto Body Technician / Mechanic.

As a Auto Body Technician / Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing damaged bodies of vehicles, and/or parts in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

3+ years of previous automotive technician experience
CSI and Quality scores above regional average preferred
Must be proficient in all vehicle maintenance services
Must be a team player and have the ability to work repetitively on complex tasks
Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background)

Responsibilities

Perform work detailed on vehicle repair orders in accordance with manufacturer’s standards
De-trim, disassemble and repair vehicle with a sense of urgency and attention to detailMaintain/assist with identifying, and or, sourcing parts and material
Meet or exceed the Collision Center's requirement for productivity
Maintain tools and equipment in a proper state of repair
Serve as subject matter expert in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc
