Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking an experienced automotive body repair technician at our Peoria, AZ location. You will inspect damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and perform structural and cosmetic work to restore safety and function.

This full-time on-site role includes a commission/flag rate structure with a posted pay range of $65,000 to $159,660 per year. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401k with company match.

Qualifications

• Ability to use a frame machine as part of structural repair.
• Certification in body repair is preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification is required or preferred.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel and crews.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates with team on repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decides between repair and replacement based on safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, electrical, and trim to access fenders.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces with tools.
• Directs a trainee/apprentice and explains procedures.
