You will collaborate with the shop team to ensure repairs are completed on time and safely, while making decisions on repair vs replacement as needed.

The role requires frame machine experience, body repair certification, and knowledge of repair processes by manufacturers.

Qualifications

• Ability to use frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certified.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must pass thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicle and plan repair process.
• Communicate repair status with team.
• Perform quality repairs while meeting timelines.
• Decide on repair vs replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Access vehicle by removing upholstery and components.
• Attend safety meetings.
• Supervise apprentice and explain procedures as needed.
