Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking an experienced collision repair technician to assess damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and communicate progress with team members. You will work on high-quality repairs in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with vehicle repair processes and frame measurements.
• I-CAR welding certification or equivalent.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel and coordinate with apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates with team on vehicle repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Makes decisions on repair vs. replace based on safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, electrical components, and trim to access areas.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using tools.
• Directs an apprentice in task performance and explains procedures.
