Qualifications

• Ability to use a frame machine responsibly.
• Certification in body repair preferred for this role.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer required.
• I-CAR welding certification is a plus.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data needed.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel effectively is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicles and plan repair processes efficiently.
• Communicate vehicle repair status with team members.
• Perform quality repairs while considering on-time status.
• Make repair vs. replace decisions based on safety, cost, and time.
• Remove upholstery and other components for vehicle access.
• Participate in required safety meetings regularly.
• Use power tools and hand tools for repairs.
• Direct apprentices in tasks when needed.
