Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous assessment and high-quality repairs, restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars while collaborating with teammates to meet KPIs and uphold the brand promise of speed and excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers; use cutters, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers and pliers as needed.
• Hammer out dents, apply filler resins and realign chassis and frames to repair damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and repair/replace glass.
• Weld and fit parts, repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalent, and inspect for quality.
