Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking an experienced collision repair technician at our Apopka Repair Center to perform disassembly, body repair, welding, and finish work to exacting standards. Applicants should have 2-3 years of collision repair experience, a valid driver's license, and a customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred
• Valid Driver's License required
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist collision estimators in assessing damage and prepare a 100% repair plan
• Ensure all needed repairs identified to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time
• Plan work procedures by following work orders
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components to access damaged areas and store parts carefully
• Mend damaged body by hammering out dents, welding, and replacing parts to industry standards
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, soldering equipment, cutting torch, sander, spray guns) and ensure safety procedures
