Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Honolulu, HI is seeking an Auto Body Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, using cutters, plasma cutters, jacks and other tools while ensuring speed, quality and customer excellence.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and/or technical training; successful candidates will work with a team to meet KPIs and maintain safety standards in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle sections with tools.
• Realign chassis and replace damaged parts.
• Weld and paint vehicles per specs.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality.
• Complete work within labor time guidelines.
