Gerber Collision & Glass in Pensacola, FL is seeking an Auto Body Technician to repair and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition, collaborating with the team to meet KPIs and uphold brand standards. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and repaint vehicles, ensuring high-quality customer experiences.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely completion within labor guidelines, with a focus on being a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion OR a 3-year apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work that is necessary and prepares cost estimates for customers.
• Uses tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Realigns car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Removes damaged sections of vehicles and replaces with new or aftermarket parts; repairs glass as needed.
• Welds and fits parts, prepares and repaints vehicles to factory specs or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
