Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Dundalk, MD is seeking an Auto Body Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition with speed and quality. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

You will replace damaged sections, weld and align frames, repair glass, and repaint to factory specs while meeting labor targets and KPIs in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Experience in auto body repair and proficiency with shop tools.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles ensuring speed, quality and customer excellence.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and interior parts as needed.
• Weld and attach parts; repaint vehicles to factory specifications.
