Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to assess, repair, and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition with speed and quality. You will work with a team to follow WOW standards and use a variety of tools to repair structural and cosmetic damage.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship. Compensation is flat-rate hourly with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers; use tools to repair vehicle sections.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed to repair dents.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and windshields as needed.
• Weld and attach parts; repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines; inspect vehicles post-repair.
