Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide an exceptional customer experience by accurately assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble and ensure quality while adhering to speed and accuracy goals.

You will work with the team to meet KPIs, operate diagnostic and repair tools, and maintain high standards of safety and professionalism on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair and reassemble vehicles with appropriate parts.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Weld and repaint vehicles per factory specs or equivalents.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines and inspect completed work.
