Applicants should have frame machine experience and knowledge of manufacturer repair processes; I-CAR welding certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Frame machine experience required or preferred.
• Welding certification (I-CAR) desirable.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes per manufacturer.
• Experience supervising an apprentice or junior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicle and plan repair process.
• Communicate repair status with team.
• Perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decide on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Assist with access and teardown tasks as needed.
• Lead and guide apprentices when required.
