Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking an experienced collision repair professional to examine damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and oversee the repair process from start to finish. You will collaborate with teammates to maintain quality and on-time delivery at multiple location operations.

The role requires frame machine experience, I-CAR welding certification, and the ability to supervise repair personnel. A thorough background check will be completed as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Ability to use a frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certified.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must be able to pass thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with teammates.
• Performs quality repairs and maintains on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, cycle time.
• Removes upholstery and trim to access vehicle sections.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds and sands repaired surfaces using tools.
• Directs an apprentice and explains procedures as needed.
