Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair and high-quality workmanship. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while aligning with the company’s KPI targets and representing the brand on every repair delivery.

The role emphasizes speed, quality, and customer excellence, with responsibilities spanning dent removal, frame realignment, glass replacement, painting, and thorough inspections

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare customer estimates using tools like cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Hammer dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and windshields.
• Repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; prepare and repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect completed vehicles.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
