Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician in the United States. The role focuses on meticulous assessment and high-quality repair to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition while upholding speed and customer excellence.

You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, align chassis, replace parts, and ensure work meets KPIs. A collaborative, brand-driven environment supports your growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers using various tools.
• Hammers out dents and applies filler resins as needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with parts and repair/replacing glass and interior parts.
• Welds and fits parts; prepares and repaints vehicles to factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
