Job summary

Kocourek Automotive in Appleton, WI is seeking a B-Level Body Technician to join our collision repair team. You will independently repair collision-damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition while collaborating with estimators, planners, and painters.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of body repair experience, can follow repair procedures, and values quality work. I-CAR or OEM certifications are a plus, with full-time opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of collision/body repair experience.
• Ability to read and follow repair procedures and work orders.
• I-CAR or OEM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair collision-damaged vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and repair procedures.
• Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs
• Remove and replace damaged body panels, parts, and components
• Repair dents, dings, and other collision damage
• Perform body straightening and minor structural repairs
• Complete disassembly and reassembly of vehicles
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Follow OEM repair procedures and safety guidelines
• Identify additional damage and communicate repair needs
• Work closely with estimators, repair planners, painters, and other technicians
• Maintain accurate and organized work habits
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality
• Keep work area clean, safe, and organized
• Perform quality checks before vehicles move to the next stage of repair
