Job summary

Kocourek Automotive in Appleton seeks a B-Level Body Technician to join the collision repair team. You will independently repair collision-damaged vehicles per manufacturer specs, working closely with estimators and other technicians in a team-focused shop.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of collision/body repair experience.
• Ability to read and follow repair procedures and work orders.
• Experience with non-structural and some structural repairs.
• I-CAR or OEM certifications are a plus and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Repair collision-damaged vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and repair procedures.
• Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs.
• Remove and replace damaged body panels, parts, and components.
• Repair dents, dings, and other collision damage.
• Perform body straightening and minor structural repairs.
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicles as needed.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow OEM repair procedures and safety guidelines.
• Identify additional damage and communicate repair needs to team.
• Collaborate with estimators, repair planners, painters, and other technicians.

Are you an experienced body technician who can take a damaged vehicle and bring it back to pre-accident condition?

We're looking for a B-Level Body Shop Technician to join our collision repair team in the Appleton. This is a great opportunity for a technician who can work independently on a variety of collision repairs and wants a shop where quality work, teamwork, and getting the job done right matter.

What You'll Do

As a B-Level Body Technician, you'll be responsible for repairing collision-damaged vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and established repair procedures.

Your day may include:

• Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs
• Remove and replace damaged body panels, parts, and components
• Repair dents, dings, and other collision damage
• Perform body straightening and minor structural repairs
• Complete disassembly and reassembly of vehicles
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Follow OEM repair procedures and safety guidelines
• Identify additional damage and communicate repair needs
• Work closely with estimators, repair planners, painters, and other technicians
• Maintain accurate and organized work habits
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality
• Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized
• Perform quality checks before vehicles move to the next stage of repair

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

• Has2+ years of collision/body repair experience
• Can independently complete common collision repairs
• Has a solid understanding of body repair processes
• Can read and follow repair procedures and work orders
• Has experience with both non-structural and some structural repairs
• Takes pride in producing quality work
• Can work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Is dependable and takes ownership of their work
• Works well as part of a team
• Has a valid driver's license

I-CAR or OEM certifications are a plus, but we're willing to invest in the right technician.
