Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Milwaukie, OR is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver precise repairs and exceptional customer experiences by restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, align chassis, replace parts including glass, weld, and repaint to factory or agreed standards.

You will inspect and ensure work meets quality and KPI targets while maintaining safe practices in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical program OR apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of vehicle body repair methods.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a noisy shop.

Responsibilities

• Review and plan repairs based on job orders and estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts including glass.
• Weld and fit parts; prep and repaint vehicles per standards.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and KPI targets.
• Work safely in a busy shop environment.
