Job Description

The Auto Body Technician is responsible for assessing and repairing vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition, ensuring quality and efficiency while providing an excellent customer experience. The role involves disassembling, repairing, and reassembling vehicles, working collaboratively with team members to meet KPIs and uphold our brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
2. Plan repair work, prepare cost estimates, and use various tools for repairs.
3. Repair minor body damage, realign chassis and frames, replace damaged parts, and repair or replace glass and interior components.
4. Weld, attach, and paint vehicles as per specifications.
5. Complete work within labor time guidelines, inspect vehicles post-repair, and ensure quality standards.
6. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship.
• Ability to read work orders and operate tools independently.
• Understanding of vehicle body repair methods and procedures.

Physical & Other Requirements

• Ability to work safely in noisy, odorous environments.
• Lift up to 30 pounds.
• Inspect vehicle damage in various weather conditions.
• Perform physical activities such as bending, stretching, kneeling, and squatting.
