Responsibilities
- Examines damaged vehicles and plans repair processes efficiently.
- Communicates with team members regarding vehicle repair status.
- Performs quality repairs with an emphasis on timeliness.
- Decides on repair versus replacement, considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
- Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components, and trim to access vehicle parts.
- Participates in all safety meetings.
- Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
- Supervises apprentices or assistants when necessary, explaining procedures and addressing issues.
Qualifications
- Ability to operate a frame machine.
- Certification in body repair preferred.
- Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
- I-CAR welding certification.
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measurement data.
- Ability to supervise repair personnel.
- Must pass a thorough background check.

This position offers competitive compensation based on knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, and qualifications. Compensation is on a commission/flag rate basis, guaranteed to meet local minimum wage requirements.
