Responsibilities

1. Examines damaged vehicles and plans repair processes efficiently.
2. Communicates with team members regarding vehicle repair status.
3. Performs quality repairs with an emphasis on timeliness.
4. Decides on repair versus replacement, considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
5. Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components, and trim to access vehicle parts.
6. Participates in all safety meetings.
7. Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
8. Supervises apprentices or assistants when necessary, explaining procedures and addressing issues.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measurement data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must pass a thorough background check.

This position offers competitive compensation based on knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, and qualifications. Compensation is on a commission/flag rate basis, guaranteed to meet local minimum wage requirements.
