Job summary

Crash Champions is a leading collision repair operator with a nationwide footprint. We are hiring a skilled technician to examine damage, plan repairs, and coordinate with a team to deliver high-quality results.

You will perform frame-machine-based repairs, interpret measuring data, and ensure safety standards while guiding an apprentice as needed. The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to quality, and efficient cycle times.

Qualifications

• Ability to use a frame machine and perform repairs per manufacturer specs.
• Certification in body repair is preferred.
• Knowledge of repair processes as defined by vehicle manufacturers.
• I-CAR welding certification is preferred or required.
• Ability to analyze and interpret measuring data accurately.
• Able to supervise repair personnel and coordinate tasks.
• Candidate must pass a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process efficiently.
• Works with others to communicate repair status on each vehicle.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Makes decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical components to access body and fenders.
• Participates in required safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using tools.
• Directs work of an apprentice and explains procedures.
