Job summary

Caliber Collision in Austin is hiring an Auto Painter Helper to efficiently prepare vehicles for painting and cooperate with the Auto Painter for smooth workflow. Tasks include sanding, buffing, and keeping the paint booth and workspace well-maintained, while ensuring repairs meet Caliber and OEM standards with our equipment.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and growth within a production shop, with benefits starting from day one and opportunities for overtime and training.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in paint operations in a collision center.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for Caliber’s insurance policy.
• Nice to have: previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting in cooperation with the Auto Painter.
• Sand, buff, and maintain the paint booth and workspace.
• Repair vehicles in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards using state-of-the-art equipment.
• Support efficient workflow and safety in a production shop.
