Job summary

Ferman Motor Car Company INC in Tampa seeks a professional Body Shop Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests. You will answer phones, schedule repairs, update guests on status, and assist with office duties in a fast-paced collision repair center.

Ideal candidates are organized, customer-focused, and proficient with Microsoft Office and basic dealership systems. Automotive shop experience is a plus and confidentiality is important.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in receptionist/administrative roles preferred.
• Automotive dealership or body shop experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests professionally in person or by phone.
• Answer calls, direct inquiries, provide basic information regarding repair services.
• Schedule repair appointments and coordinate with estimators and body shop staff.
• Provide guests with repair status updates and general information.
• Enter and update guest and vehicle information in the DMS.
• Maintain and organize repair orders, customer files, and office records.
• Assist with billing, invoices, insurance paperwork, and general administrative tasks.
• Communicate effectively with technicians, estimators, insurance companies, and vendors.
• Monitor voicemail, email, and guest inquiries promptly.
• Maintain reception area and office supplies.
• Protect confidentiality of guest and dealership information.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
