Cox Automotive in the United States is seeking a Quality Inspector for auto body and paint processes. You will conduct final quality inspections, verify repairs meet company standards, and ensure customer satisfaction before vehicles are released from the body and paint department.

You will document inspection findings, maintain records, and collaborate with technicians to resolve quality issues while supporting continuous improvement and reducing rework for higher first-time quality.

Qualificações

• Must be detail-oriented and able to identify defects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
• Ability to follow OEM specifications and internal quality standards.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct final quality inspections on body and paint repairs prior to delivery.
• Verify repairs meet company quality standards, OEM specs, safety requirements, and customer expectations.
• Inspect body repairs for panel alignment, fit, finish, and workmanship.
• Evaluate paint quality for color match, texture, gloss, dirt, runs, sags, and overspray.
• Document inspection findings and communicate to technicians and shop leadership.
• Maintain quality control records and inspection reports.
• Collaborate with technicians and management to resolve quality issues efficiently.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rework and improve first-time quality.
• Participate in quality review walks to ensure consistent standards across repairs.
• Report trends related to workmanship, materials, equipment, or process deficiencies.
