BILLION MOTORS INC in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking an Auto Body Painter to refine vehicles damaged in accidents or requiring cosmetic restoration. You will prep surfaces, mix paints, and apply coatings in a controlled booth to achieve a flawless finish that meets OEM and dealership standards.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of automotive painting experience, proficiency with paint mixing systems and spray equipment, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational auto body training preferred.
• 2–3 years of automotive painting experience required; strong finish quality essential.
• Proficiency with paint mixing systems, spray equipment, and refinishing techniques.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to auto painting.

Responsibilities

• Surface preparation: sand, mask, and prime surfaces for painting.
• Paint application: mix and apply colors, spray in controlled booth, apply top coats.
• Quality control: inspect color accuracy, finish, and smoothness; perform touch-ups.
• Maintenance and safety: keep workstation clean; follow PPE and ventilation protocols.
• Collaborate with body technicians, estimators, and service advisors to coordinate repairs.
